What is Kundalini Reiki

Kundalini Reiki (also known as Tummo), like Imara Reiki is a Reiki system that doesnt rely on symbols making it much easier both to channel and to pass on attunements. I know for myself that words and intentions have power and never soley relied on the Usui Symbols anyways. I even had a Reiki Master that I used write words over me like "Love", "Peace", "Joy" with the same purpose as using a symbol and I do this myself since to me, a japanese symbol is mearly a word itself. I know Chios Healing uses simple geometric shapes as symbols, so use whatever feels comfortable to you and carries a meaning or intention.

For those who are already Usui Reiki Masters, Kundalini Reiki will offer something new in that Kundalini Reiki treatments only last 3-5 minutes before the energy flow stops on its own. And often this stop of flow can be felt, so again, like with Imara Reiki, I am not convinced every Reiki Style is all the same. Yes, I do feel all universal life source energy is universal life force energy but I do believe there are differences in how it can be channeled and different Reiki Styles seem to have different qualities, strengths (more having to do with how strongly it is channeled than the actual stength of universal life force energy which is all equal).

The energy also works in a different direction than other styles of Reiki. Instead of travelling down through the crown and out the hands, it works its way up through the root chakra and out the hands. This reportedly makes Kundalini Reiki ideal for treating lower chakra issues such as grounding, shyness, sexual issues, and ascension symptoms / issues related to a kundalini awakening that was too fast or disruptive. In fact, becoming a Kundalini Reiki Master is ideally suited to anyone having experienced too rapid an opening, which can happen when embarking on spiritual paths, including those involving Reiki.

Included in the third attunement are the attunements:

  • Crystalline Reiki
  • Past Life Reiki
  • Location Reiki
  • Birth Trauma Reiki
  • DNA Reiki

These attunements work similar to symbols. You repeat the name three times to have the Kundalini Reiki Flow focused on what the attunement represents, though no symbols or complicated processes are involved.

Kundalini Reiki History

 

Kundalini Reiki is connected to the Ascended Master Kuthumi (Chocan of the Second Ray and also known as Koot Hoomi and K. H. ). Master Kuthumi is connected with the Temple of Love and the Crown chakra. It is said to have come about as the result of many hours of meditation and channeled experiences of Ole Gabrielson where he communed with this ascended master in his home of Denmark.

What is Kundalini

The word Kundalini in a literal sense means "coiling of a snake". The energy of Kundalini is refered to as "Kundalini fire". Basically, in spiritual terminology, Kundalini refers to a great reservoir of untapped potential energy that starts at the base of the spine at the root chakra (at the base of the spine) and is ready to move upwards into other chakras. A "Kundalini Awakening" is when the chakra's open and allow the Kundalini energy to travel upwards towards the crown chakra (at the top of the head). Once awakened, this energy moves throughout the chakras travelling up through the base/root chakra, which is the place of entrance. Having an "open kundalini" means one has obtained a complete cleansing of the energy channels, body parts and chakras by the kundalini fire.

Sometimes, Kundalini can awaken too quickly, especially through stress or trauma causing symptoms of psychic or other imbalance. This is one place where Kundalini Reiki and its attunements can be of help to correct and bring into balance a poor kundalini awakening. Kundalini Awakening can be accompanied by any number of symptoms, positive or negative depending if the awakening is balanced or not.

Kundalini Reiki Attunement: The 9 levels

Level I : This attunement opens the channels to allow the Reiki energy to flow. All knots and blocks in the chakras are removed (except the root chakra). In this attunement, the energy system is prepared for the kundalini awakening of the Level II attunement. The heart and crown chakras are strengthened and enlarged. Kundalin Reiki Level 1 is the equivalent to Usui Reiki Levels 1-2-3 attunements.

Level II : In this attunement, the Reiki channels are strengthened and the Kundalini fire is lighted in a way to cause a gentle awakening. The Kundalini reaches a the solar plexus and the channels are prepared for the full Kundalini rising that will take place in Kundalini Reiki level III. A Kundalini meditation used in between attunements II and III to increase the power of the flame in the Kundalini energy/fire. By doing this, some cleansing and enlightening of the chakra system takes place.

Level III : This attunement is to be taken a minimum of 10 days after the level II attunement. The previous attunements are strengthened, as are the throat, solar plexus, sexual (hara) and root chakras. Kundalini fire now reaches the crown chakra to initiate a full rising. This attunement also includes the attunements Balance All, Diamond Reiki, Crystalline Reiki, DNA Reiki, Birth Trauma Reiki, Location Reiki, and Past Life Reiki. In level III the attuned is taught how to attune objects like crystals and also how to attune others.

Boosters: After Kundalini Reiki Level III there are 6 Boosters that follow. These boosters serve to further widen and strengthen the energy channels as well as strengthening attunements I, II & III. The person being attuned must be attuned to levels I, II, & III before being attuned to boosters. After Booster #3, you are then able to pass on Booster I, II & III attunements to others. Boosters IV, V & VI continues the strengthening and widening process and strengthen the channels to the hands. You are then able to pass on all the attunements and boosters to others. (each attunement takes about 25 minutes)

Kunalini Awakening to Fast / Ascension Symptoms

One of the things Kundalini Reiki works to assist with is a kundalini awakening that was uncomfortable or opened through trauma. Some symptoms that can occur include:

  • Sleep Issues: restlessness, waking often, dream experiences, light sleeping, feeling unrested upon waking
  • Feeling intense energy followed by periods of fatigue. Even power surges (both emotional and environmental) can occur as well as experiences such as lights may blow out etc.
  • Sensations like pinches, tickling, crawling, prickles, and other sensations
  • Mediumism
  • Emotionalism
  • Old traumas and other unresolved issues resurfacing
  • Weight changes and changes in eating habits
  • Food, chemical intollerances and general "sensitivity" issues and increases... to sights, smells, sounds, touch, psychic things, emotions...
  • Skin problems: pimples, rashes, hives, etc
  • Flue-like symptoms/detox symptoms: headaches, pains, fatigue, digestive issues etc.
  • Looking younger yet perception that time is accelerating
  • "Coincidences", 11:11 type occurances, things or people appearing when you need them

For clients that may experience such symptoms of awakening kundalini and ascension symptoms the following can be tried along with Kundalini Reiki.

  • Grounding, grounding, grounding... through diet, exercise, being out in nature, feeling your body, visualization etc.
  • Make your environment and diet more pure and free of toxins (ie.drugs when possible, food additives and preservatives, tobacco, alcohol, and caffeine, muscle test vitamins for if you need them) and stress (use relaxation techniques but be careful with meditation as can make a disruptive kundalini awakening worse, keep your support system free of people who are toxic to you or learn to set boundaries with them).
  • Do cleansing things that get the lymphs moving toxins out water, massage and vigorous exercise.
  • Treat underlying emotional and past issues.
  • Use intuition for what increase or decreases the effects for you.
