The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. ”

As we approach Thanksgiving day in the United States, have you been able to give it much thought? I’m sure there are quite a few out there right now saying, “I’ve got nothing to be thankful for this year! The economy is down; I’m out of work and can’t get a good paying job… my girlfriend or boyfriend left me… I can’t make ends meet ... my children have little and don’t expect much more. I’m depressed … The holidays will be here in a heart beat and I just don’t know what to do!”
Personally, I think this is probably one of the worst years I’ve seen in a long time regarding the effects of mass consciousness. But what can we do about it. I know the times are hard – I’ve been swept up into it too. I know it’s, ‘easier said than done’. But I also know it is possible to “Be the change you see in the world” (Gandhi) and that, “a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step” ( Confucius) What do these two sayings have in common? Hope.
We don’t know what the future will bring. We can have a pretty good idea, and I believe we can manifest just about anything into our lives … but indisputable knowing is left for God. We can be afraid of that unknowing, or we can be grateful that it’s there and will soon be ours. Perspective is a wonderful thing. There are those that say the New Thought is nothing more than new age blissful ignorance. I’m sure to them it is, and also for them, it soon becomes a biting bitterness.
So, this Thanksgiving don’t get swept up in the negative mass consciousness around you. Do EVERYTHING in your power to be grateful. Now it is more important than ever! Be grateful you have blood and bone to DO… be grateful you have the wisdom to CHOOSE … be grateful you are loved and can LOVE… for there is no greater gift in this world. –
I love you.
Bright Blessings ~ Richard
