Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.
The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day
"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."
(Dr. Suess )
Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.

Is the path to enlightenment difficult or easy? Is the journey we may take for enlightenment a long hard road? If your answer was yes, enlightenment is a long hard road, I would respectfully disagree. The path to enlightenment is NOT the yellow brick (or golden) road to the emerald city. No, if we learn anything from history then we will have heard the Buddhists tell us, “If you meet the Buddha along the road, then kill him”. We would have listened when Jesus told us, “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God”.
Masters, from the beginning of time have taught us to stop looking for enlightenment outside of our self. Our truths have forever lived within us. Our road to enlightenment then is a very short road, and while it may appear to be difficult, any hindrance is of our own accord. Work with it instead of against it, and you will see just how easy it can be. When the light bulb comes on, and you shout with joy and bliss, “Eureka!” you will slap yourself in the head saying, “why didn’t I see this in the first place?!”
What’s that you say? You’re missing something? You don’t get it? Yes, you do, it just so happens that you are in denial. It’s something our ego will do for us automatically in this case, because if our soul gets the upper hand then the ego is pretty much doomed- and this the ego knows and will fight to survive!.
