Come on baby light my fire!
The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day
"And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

Your inner strength. Do you feel it? Have you ever felt it? That core part of you that you know is right, and it moves you in a direction that feels justified. It’s a feeling where everything starts to feel better and it just seems that nothing can go wrong. If you’ve not felt it before, or you’ve not felt it very often, don’t be discouraged. Most of us have either never felt that way, or refuse to let our self feel that way for very long. Fear, usually in the form of self doubt, and the ego does not allow this sort of feeling for very long.
The fact remains however that the feelings exist. Now I’m curious, why would God create us, with the ability to feel such a way, but not want us to do something with it? I believe that God wants the best for you and me. What could be better than taking every step in life with confidence and strength? So, it is my recommendation to thank God every morning for the strength and courage ‘he’s’ given you – then walk in that power for the rest of the day.
But if you’ve never felt it, “thanking God is not going to magically make it appear”, you say. Well, you might just be surprised, but just in case, there is a key to inner strength and if you think about it you might even remember feeling it. Love. Love is the key to inner strength. Think about the last time you had a new love relationship. When we are newly in love, life seems to slow down. We feel like we are on the top of the world. You are happy to be alive and even the neighbor’s pesky Chihuahua barking all day long doesn’t bother you any more. Everything seems to fall into place and everything seems right. The thing is, you don’t need the love of a relationship to feel this way. That love can be fostered in everything that you do. It lights the furnace of your inner strength.
So light it up!

Don't forget to take a look at my book too!
Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!
Do you have that friend that is always saying; "It'll never work." Have you heard them say, "I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist!". If you know someone like that then they need my book. Its a little book packed full of perspective to help anyone stay on course - it's better than a compass!
For this coming New Year I also highly recommend Debbie Ford's book - The Best Year of my Life.
