In the 1971 blockbuster hit Dirty Harry, Clint Eastwood coined the phrase; “Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?”
My question to you is what is your answer? Do you feel lucky? (I’m not going to call you a punk though).
Some people don’t even believe in luck. There is no room for luck in the realm of destiny. What about “everything happens for a reason” – can luck play into that? What about, “there are no coincidences” – does that mean luck does not exist?
Well, we can play word games all you want. I’ll tell you though; the day I win the lottery, will be a very lucky day for me, and you’ve read the above from me all the time! To me the feeling of luck is another way to express my gratitude. I’m lucky to be alive. I’m lucky to have decent health, and I’m lucky to have loving friends and family. I’m lucky – grateful.
