Doctor; we see complications
Just
how complicated is your life? I wrote a
book called, “Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!” because I truly
believe that at one point or another, just about everyone says those
words. But why? Because of the complications.
Life
certainly is complex, but it does not really need to be all that complicated,
and it certainly does NOT have to suck.
The reason life is complex is because there are so many individual
people living in a communal, collective environment. We are all one, but each to themselves for
sure. Your body is all one, but if you cut your finger, your eye does not fall
out. The tree is all one, but if a leave
falls the whole trunk does not come crashing to the ground.
So,
how do you avoid a suckie life?
Acknowledge life’s complexities, but do not allow the perceived
complications. If you are living in the
now, and are making choices in the now those complications you think you have will
suddenly disappear. The complications
arise when we choose based on “what will he or she think?”, “how will this
impact tomorrow …” “yesterday they said if I …”, “What if I mess up …” What if,
what if – “What if”, is an Angel’s game.
Focus on the moment. Be aware of
the now, and make your choices from there.
Then the only complication you’ll be faced with is if you make the wrong
choice.
As
if you could make a ‘wrong’ choice.
