Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

Granny Smith or Red Delicious?
The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

(Dr. Suess )

Granny Smith or Red Delicious?

Have you ever been asked, “What are your core beliefs?” The topic actually rarely comes up, but it is a very important question, but not nearly as important as your answer.

When asked, some people have to even wrestle with the idea of core. What am I at my core? If you ask a physicist they may tell you energy. If you ask a humanist, the may tell you consciousness. If you ask a spiritual person they may tell your soul, some may even go out on the limb and tell you God. And who would be right? Aren’t they all right? I suppose on some level, yes, they are all right. But the question is what is your core belief? So when asked like this, who cares what all those other people say. The only thought that matters is yours.

So if it doesn’t matter (except to you) why all the fuss about core? Because it is the core of things that identifies things. The core of the earth is molten rock and gasses. If it were ice then the earth as you know would be completely different (if you could even survive living on it). If the core of your cells, where DNA lives is different than everything else about you would be different. It is the core that gives meaning.

So, if you don’t know what lay at your core then you need to start exploring that. Unfortunately it’s a job you and only you can do. But once you have identified your core, you’ll be amazed at how all the other puzzle pieces fall into place.

Don't forget to take a look at my book too!

Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!

Do you have that friend that is always saying; "It'll never work." Have you heard them say, "I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist!". If you know someone like that then they need my book. Its a little book packed full of perspective to help anyone stay on course - it's better than a compass!
