How do you do?

 How much wood, could a woodchuck chuck … or How many angels can sit on the head of a pin? How… how… how. We are a civilization obsessed with how. It is, after all, our scientific method.
In the old days, man just did because he/she had faith that if they did not then evil or disgrace or some such malady would befall them. "Plant the seeds now or the Gods will be displeased"; "harvest the crops now or the Gods will ruin our crops next year." Of course today, all that is a boogieman relegated to our children’s closets to get them to do what we want; or is it?
Our Scientists are developing bigger and stronger tools. They are creating stronger methods of discovery and yet when they ask, How? What? or When? … they are coming back with the answer: “I don’t know.”
And that is the truth of it. We don’t know. Not on a conscious level anyway. Many believe we are creating it as we go along – a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. There are those that are not concerned with how, but with just the results and some way the “how” is taken care of. Wha-la, magic happens.
Do you have the courage for forget about how? It takes a lot I know, but we can help each other – that is what’s nice about being all One. If you can’t do this then you better start counting now – I promise you A LOT of angels can sit on the head of a pin!
