How's your energy today?

How's your energy today?

Where is your energy today? That’s a much more difficult question to answer if you are not aware of just how subtle and just how far reaching your energy is.
Think for a moment about spiritual healing. Do you believe that can happen? Well, no matter what you believe there are cases after cases of such things happening. One persons energy impacting that of another.
You’ve heard of auras; the field of energy that surrounds us. Oh, you don’t believe in that either? Then you need to look up Kirlian photography, you’ll be amazed. You’ll be even more amazed when you consider that electro-magnetic imagery has progressed leaps and bounds since the invention of Kirlian photography.
Your energy does extent past your body, there is little doubt to that. Just how far it extends is up to you. When you are feeling good you have a light energy that extends well past your body and can be fairly invasive (in a good way) to other people. You’ve experienced those times when someone else’s good mood ‘infected’ you and made you feel better. What’s happening is their energy is mingling with yours, and changing yours. If your depressed, tired or “lacking energy” – don’t you feel invisible sometimes? That’s because your energy is not expansive and it sticks close to you, and anyone that is close enough to actually pick up your energy don’t really want anything to do with it.
This energy exchange happens all the time in our relationships. Often within our relationships there are times when we are striving for dominance over our partner. Now when I’m talking about relationships I’m not just talking about romantic relationships, but all relationships. When we our energy is dominant it is very invasive. We are expansive and our partner is submissive and constricted. I suppose there are times when this is required, but you can imagine how someone would feel if their energy is always constricted like that – not very well. So, when we talk about relationships being give and take, we are not just talking about the compromise of ideals, but the give and take of our energy as well.
