Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

I think I can... I think I can...
The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection”

(Prince Gautama Siddharta - The Buddha )

I think I can... I think I can...

What are you bringing into your life? Every choice you make has an impact on your life. Every choice you don’t make has an impact on your life. There are some that believe that our lives are never stagnant. They believe that life never lingers in the past but always moves forward.

Try to think of it as a train. The engine of the train is right now, and we are the engineer … and the train is moving forward always into the future. The cars behind the engine are the past. Our past follows us because it is what we are made of. We can as the engineer add cars by choice... and eventually some of the past cars may fade so much as to seem like they are not even there. As the engineer, we don’t usually go back into the past cars, because if you did go and linger in the past, then the operation of right now would become, at the very least, a challenge. But still some engineers do just that… and horrific train crashes will inevitably happen.

To choose to linger in the past is one way to get a train wreck for certain. Not making choices is another way. To live a life of default choices is akin to jumping off the train. The train will keep going… as your past catches up to you and passes you by. Eventually you’ll be standing at the side of the track waiting for another train to come along so that hopefully you can catch a ride with them… but the chances of it being your train is very slim.

Stay in the engine; stand in your power and choose to add the right cars to your train. Don’t be afraid to disconnect some of those old cars. NEVER ignore your old cars, because you always need to be aware of just how long your train is!

Don’t be a train wreck.

Bright blessings ~ Richard

Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!

Its a little book packed full of perspective to help you stay on course - it's better than a compass!
