Greenman Coaching ~ Thought of the Day

I was flipping through A Course in Miracles, and ran across lesson 102. It said, “I share God’s will for happiness for me”.
Wait a minute… we’re supposed to be happy? When did those rules change?! What about all that stuff about suffering and rewards from suffering, and learning our lessons from our mistakes – those are rarely, if ever, happy times! Then I realized I was in the workbook section of my copy of A Course of Miracles … ah ha! This is a goal to shoot for while I cope with my suffering and lessons. This is the God work - the Spirit work we are supposed to be doing in order to transcend!
It only makes sense that if we were put here to have dominion over all things ‘in the garden’, then we should be happy. I'm usually happy when I'm in charge. I have often wondered why a loving God would create a life of suffering? What a cruel joke that would be! I like the way Jesus put it - "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? …” Gandhi said it pretty well too; “When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.”
If we can look past those that would be our persecutors, and know with all our spirit they are only temporary and all things bright and beautiful lead us to love and happiness then we’ve come a long way.
Bobbie McFerrin sang it best, "Don’t worry, be happy”

This book by Richard Hill has a lot of elements of our reality that we face today, but may not notice. It included relegion, philosophy, quantim physics, science, and psychology that Richard has integrated in his book. It a help book that not only does it have one element that you may not suit you, but it has several that you may relate to! Great, short, and to the point! wonderful book to read to inspire you and does not take years or months- almost instant! ~Maria~
Your book is a self learning project, if you listen to yourself and know what you want and not let other obstacles and concerns from others points of views get in your mind,> as the way I read your book, I love the fact that religion is a role play here, as I believe in the Faith of God, I can relate to a lot of ways you point out in your book, just we have to find our which way we choose that suits us in our own life, very Uplifting and encouraging, lots of Hope indeed .. if we listen to our inner strength, ~Annette
