Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

OMG I didn't expect that.
Greenman Coaching ~ Thought of the Day

OMG I didn't expect that!

“It’s easy to live the expected and conventional. It’s when you live the unexpected that you start having fun with your life”. Richard Bach wrote that and could anything be more true? When we are laying on our death bed are we going to remember with passion the day we picked up the mail? Only if we won the Publishers Sweepstakes that day! It is the unexpected that makes an impression on us, and it is usually those events and circumstances that help us to grow.

The wonderful thing about the unexpected is that we don’t have to wait around till it happens. We can choose the unexpected, or the unconventional. We can choose to step out of our comfort zone. Often that is not an easy choice, but it is possible. The US Army has a motto; “Be all that you can be”. Well what is the first thing the Army does to help you be all that you can be. They throw you into boot camp where you are completely out of your comfort zone. They tear you down, only to build you back up again. Now I’m not saying we need to tear ourselves down in order to start having fun and success, but you can start by joining a Salsa Dance class!

Love and Bright blessings ~ Richard

Richard can also be read at San Francisco Examiner.com where he writes a daily Parenting Teens article and of course his book -
