Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

One, two, three; what are we fightin' for?
The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

(Dr. Suess )

One, two three - what are we fightin' for?

In our physical world, we live in a very dualistic place. There is light or dark, hot or cold, black or white and good or evil; just to mention a few.

But our world is more than just the physical. Our emotions and feelings add a great deal of color between black and white. Further, our spirit brings triads into our lives with the most well know one being, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, which then finds a relationship with mind, body and spirit. We have the past, present and future. We’ve come to know here, there, and the space between. We experience the id, ego and superego or conscious, subconscious and super conscious.

So, why when we know all of these things do we hear about so many different absolutes, or what others may consider as absolutes? "My way or the highway", is the mantra of so many. Some say the only absolutes are ‘death and taxes’, but they are not even true absolutes. Taxes can be paid or not paid, and death is a new beginning, not the ending – death is a transformation. There is only one absolute, and that is God. Your personal God - the source of all that you know and all that is possible. God is the have and the have not. God is finite and infinite; the alpha and omega. And there is the spark of this divine God in each and every one of us. Find that place and black, white and all the colors in between become very dull. Find that place and we are no longer talking about dualism or triads, but Oneness. This is the absolute we strive for, if even for a fleeting moment.

Don't forget to take a look at my book too!

Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!

Do you have that friend that is always saying; "It'll never work." Have you heard them say, "I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist!". If you know someone like that then they need my book. Its a little book packed full of perspective to help anyone stay on course - it's better than a compass!
