The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own.
And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go."
(Dr. Suess )

Did you ever make a New Years Resolution that you didn’t keep? I wonder why that is? First did you write it down somewhere or were you just thinking to yourself; “hmmmm I wonder what I should do to better myself next year”, and that was just about as far as you got. I hate to say it, but millions of New Year Resolutions fail every year for that simple reason. The next reason they fail (and most of you know I dislike that word very much), because they are not treated as goals. They are merely statements that we might look at now and again, barely even as aspirations.
You want to keep your New Years Resolutions – then do it the Debbie Ford way; Dream it, Plan it and Live it. You have a dream or a vision, that’s how you got your resolution in the first place; you see a better you and you know you can be that person. Well, write down your vision, make it a goal. Make it realistic, measurable, and attainable. Write out a plan to reach the goal, including milestones. Finally, act on the plan. If you truly want to manifest something in your life you have to ACT on it. The dream starts the manifestation… and the dream or thought is made into form with words, but is it the action of those words that breathe life into the form. You cannot do all three of these things (thought, words, doing) without believing in what it is you are doing – it’s virtually impossible. In the end, it is your belief that will create your reality.
Remember – Many things are ‘easier said than done’. Actually, ALL things are easier said than done, but NOTHING is done without first being said! Bright blessings ~ Richard |

Don't forget to take a look at my book too!
Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!
Do you have that friend that is always saying; "It'll never work." Have you heard them say, "I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist!". If you know someone like that then they need my book. Its a little book packed full of perspective to help anyone stay on course - it's better than a compass!
For this coming New Year I also highly recommend Debbie Ford's book - The Best Year of my Life.
