Is your life full of pressure? Do you feel like you never get a minutes rest? Even when you go to bed at night you are plagued by dreams of work and relationships – you can’t escape!

When we were in grade school, we never needed an excuse to have fun. We could have fun in our own mind! The world was our playground. Life was simpler. Or was it? How many of us describe our day as; “I wake up, I take care of the kids, I go to work, After work I take care of the kids and house, I go to bed – repeat for the next 20 years or so…”. That sounds pretty simple to me – boring but simple. Well, the truth of it is you CAN escape. You can always escape for an hour or two with little or no side effects.

So why not do it. Have some fun. There is an old saying that goes, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. It’s quite a true statement. I’d hate to think of YOU as dull, and I’m sure you don’t need that label either! So, right now, make a list of ten things you would do if all you had all the time in the world to have fun. Now keep these things fairly reasonable. Because what I want you to do next is to take four of them, and perform it some time during the week. So if you have four items… one a week, that makes for a whole month where you did not forget to have FUN! Would you go to see a movie instead of waiting for the DVD? Would you go play miniature gold with a girlfriend? Would you stay home with your lover and lounge all day? (or something else?!) Would you have a girls or guys night out? Would you start that book you’ve always wanted to write? I know you know how to have fun.

I just don’t want you to forget how to have fun.
