Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

Singin' in the Rain

When it’s raining (and I mean really raining… not a light drizzle) it’s pretty hard not to get wet.  Yes, you can tried to be prepared with an umbrella, and this might help, but have you ever been in a storm that takes your umbrella and turns it inside-out?!  That sort of rain storm will get you wet no matter what you do.

The same is true for your life.  Into every life a storm will come; be that with your finances, your career, your love life.  God forbid it be all them at once, but even that happens.  What do we do to keep from getting hurt?  Well, just like a rain storm there is little or nothing we can do; we’re going to get hurt.  Yes, like in a rain storm you might raise your emotional “umbrella” to help protect you, but some of those emotional storms will not only turn the umbrella inside-out, but will strip it right out of your grip!

No one said life was going to be easy.  As a matter of fact, a life that is truly successful is lived just out of the comfort zone and is never easy.  But heart break, down-on-the-luck in finances, these are two very hard things to be “uncomfortable” about.  I’m sorry there is no magic word, no magic wand I can give to you.  No one sells this kind of peace, and if they are they are selling you a lie – snake oil.  If you want to feel joy and happiness, you are bound to feel pain and sorrow at some time.  When those moments come, don’t ignore them experience them.  If you must cry, then weep within your sorrow and let it consume you.  You will find that you, like the phoenix, will rise from the ashes of your sorrow to soar again.  And your sorrow will have taught you a lesson, and you will have grown for the better because of your sorrow and joy.
