Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

(Dr. Suess )

Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'

There are no endings – only new beginnings. I heard this the other day, and it resonated with me. As we know, our scientists have proven that nothing ‘dies’, everything we know merely changes form. So, what we experience is less of an ending and more of only change. I recently watched the movie written by Mitch Albion – The five people you meet in Heaven, and was touched by what he wrote for the character Marguerite; “Lost love is still love, Eddie. It just takes a different form, that's all. You can't hold their hand... You can't tousle their hair... But when those senses weaken another one comes to life... Memory... Memory becomes your partner. You hold it... you dance with it... Life has to end, Eddie... Love doesn't.”

So, if we think like this – then we realize that we no longer have to cope with loss, we only need to be able to deal with change; it’s a matter of perspective. Some of us are better with dealing with change. Change can be difficult for some, but if you ask me it’s easier than complete loss (which we now know just doesn’t exist).

he best way to cope with change is simply to accept it. I know, sometimes easier said than done, but accepting change does not mean that we have to agree with it. We need to accept this is how things will be for now, and then we can go about creating more beginnings – instigating more change.

Don't forget to take a look at my book too!

Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!

Do you have that friend that is always saying; "It'll never work." Have you heard them say, "I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist!". If you know someone like that then they need my book. Its a little book packed full of perspective to help anyone stay on course - it's better than a compass!
