The thought of the day; Money is the root of all Evil.
Wow… if money is the root of all
evil, then I want to be the dirt that root is GROWING in! OK OK, I’ll let you idealist have some of
your way for the moment. Money can
corrupt people at the root. By that I
mean that if people did not have money then they could not have the things that
seem to give them power. And if people
did not have the power supported by money then they could not be corrupt. But don’t blame the cash! Well, it’s in the Bible you say… it’s the
word of God; the bible actually reads:
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some
people, in their eagerness to get rich, have wandered away from the faith and
caused themselves a lot of pain.” So,
you see, it’s NOT the money itself, but the LOVE of money.
Kiyosaki
writes in Rich Dad, Poor Dad that he’s been both rich and poor; both happy and
unhappy, but that it sure a lot easier to be happy when your rich than when you
are poor. DUH! Money, or having money is an attitude just like
anything else. Of course you have to
know how money works if you want to be rolling in it, but that knowledge is not
so difficult to obtain.
You
want to be rich, I say GO FOR IT. Do
not let others guilt you or shame you because of your dreams, and goals. Trust me, they will still love you when you
are rich; maybe even a little more!
