What a piece of work is Man
Greenman Coaching ~ Thought of the Day

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

(Dr. Suess )

What a piece of work is Man

So what of our bodies? We have heard it said often that are bodies are a temple to our soul, and therefore must be treated with great reverence. But our body is obviously more than a building that is home for some nebulous thing some people don’t even believe in.

Our body is the ‘interface’ to the world we live in. Our knowledge and wisdom is (largely) gotten by way of our body and how it reacts and interprets the world around us.
If all we had were our mind and spirit, how would we know it was cold outside? Our mind can conceive the thought of cold, but unless our body experiences cold (and hot for that matter) we cannot truly understand what cold is. We know love in our thoughts and soul, but one of the first signs of intimate or passionate love is the rush of adrenaline, the foggy mind, and the breath getting slightly caught in our throat upon seeing our loved one. Not to mention the more beautiful, intimate aspects our bodies share in love. So some might say our body is not merely a housing unit, but rather a tool.

In the book Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch says that we (human beings) are Gods body. It is through us that God experiences things. Who are we to deny God her experiences?!

The bottom line is that our mind and soul are little without the body. Whether it be a temple, a tool or conduit to God; our body is critical to all of us. The trick is keeping it all in balance. Do not forsake the body in search of your soul or development of your mind, and do not focus strictly on your body for it’s pleasures and experiences at the detriment of your mind and soul. It is a dance in which all three must participate; only then can we truly hear and know the music. - So, ROCK ON

What others have said of ...Why my life sucks?!:

“My life sucks” is a wonderful book which will I feel help young teenagers and adults alike find their way in the world. We live in a world that contains crime, poverty, divorce, depression, all manner of negatives. This book gives the tools to help the individual deal with some of lifes challenges.I highly recommend it. ~Sasha~

This book by Richard Hill has a lot of elements of our reality that we face today, but may not notice. It included relegion, philosophy, quantim physics, science, and psychology that Richard has integrated in his book. It a help book that not only does it have one element that you may not suit you, but it has several that you may relate to! Great, short, and to the point! wonderful book to read to inspire you and does not take years or months- almost instant! ~Maria~

Your book is a self learning project, if you listen to yourself and know what you want and not let other obstacles and concerns from others points of views get in your mind,> as the way I read your book, I love the fact that religion is a role play here, as I believe in the Faith of God, I can relate to a lot of ways you point out in your book, just we have to find our which way we choose that suits us in our own life, very Uplifting and encouraging, lots of Hope indeed .. if we listen to our inner strength, ~Annette
