Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

What's it gonna be?
The Druid's Grove ~ Thought of the Day

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

(Dr. Suess )

What's it gonna be?

I read a bit by Neale Donald Walsch that was very interesting and profound. Basically he said, “Why is the most useless question in the universe”. Now, when we are two years old and EVERY question seems to be a why question, maybe it’s more important but as an adult I think I’ll have to agree with him. As Neale points out, it’s not “Why” that is important, but rather “What”.

“Why is this happening to me?” is never as meaningful as “What am I going to do about this?” “What can I learn from this?” It’s been pointed out time and time again, that we are the ones that assign meaning to our life. The way we do that is not by asking “why”, but rather knowing the “what” and placing that value to the situation or circumstance. “Why” gives our power away, “What” retains our power and control. “Why” can fill us with a sense of hopelessness, while “What” can empower us.

Here’s the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (there is always a pot of gold you know) – if you focus on “what” instead of “why” in your life – “why” will ALWAYS become evident without even asking.

So, what’s it going to be? Are you going to be a “Why” person or a “What” person?

Don't forget to take a look at my book too!

Can someone please tell me why my life sucks?!

Do you have that friend that is always saying; "It'll never work." Have you heard them say, "I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist!". If you know someone like that then they need my book. Its a little book packed full of perspective to help anyone stay on course - it's better than a compass!
