Thought of the day

There are many thoughts we have easily over 40,000 a day. I just want to add one more.

You are not alone.

Oneness.  Oneness is a principle that has been taught for centuries. I was clearly a Buddhist teaching, as well as a Christian teaching (Corinthians1 12:14 -31) We are all one.  There is even plenty of scientific evidence to support this.  Look at the elemental make up of the human body.  Of all the elements in the universe, we are composed of more star-dust then we are of earth.  The idea that we are a microcosm within the macrocosm has been around for a very long time.

You ask any quantum physicist what is at the core of the Universe, and they will tell you energy.  Ask them the same question of the human body and their answer will be the same.  This energy (like all energy) travels in waves and connects us all, one to the other.  How many times have you had the feeling that you were being watched; only to find out that it was true?  How many times have you been thinking of someone only to have them call you, or you receive a letter from them?  Of course you can check these things off as just every day coincidence, but how many people would you say experience these things, AND what percentage would you say it has to be before it’s not coincidence? I wish I knew the percentage, but if you go out and ask people “have you ever had the feeling that you were being watched?”, I’ll bet you come back with something link 95% – 99% (and the other one to five percent are lying or have just forgotten).  To me that is not a coincidence.

Just as we can watch a charge of static electricity jump from my fingertip to yours, there is an unseen wave of energy – the same energy that you and I (and the Universe) are created from – that connects us.  It connects me to you, and you to them… and to every living thing.  Jesus said, “what you do unto the least of my brothers you do unto me…”  Buddha said. “… Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else.”  It is written in the Bhagavad Gita; ““Arjuna saw the entire universe, divided in many ways, but standing as [all in] One [and One in all] in the body of Krishna, the God of gods.”  The faithful across the globe can see this, why can’t you?

So next time you feel like you’re being watched.  Reach out and really feel it.  You just might be surprised by what happens.

Bright blessings ~ Richard
