What’s your story? We all have a story that while it may not be public, it certainly does define who we are. It defines our hopes and dreams, it even defines our limits
The problem is that we don’t go around telling our story to just anyone. In fact we rarely look at it ever. The impact of keeping our story on the shelf is that we often glaze over chapters that provide deep meaning to our life. There is some part of our story where we start creating our shadow self. Those dark traits and beliefs that feed our shame, and come out when we least expect it, to cause havoc. This part of the story is often overlooked almost like a footnote, but like a footnote it can provide a lot more information.
But as you know, our story is not finished being written. And as we write our continued story, we have the ability to change that which has been written in the past. We are the author of our story – no one else. So if there is a part of your life which you are unhappy about, you can rewrite or amend that part of your story! And you don’t have to rewrite any of the shadow stuff – just be aware of it, and bring it back under your control. You can be the hero of your story again!
Keep your story dusted off. Refer back to it often and remember the only way a story gets to be a number one seller is if it is read.
