Backup Solution for Windows

Mozy is a web based service for backing up important data. Users simply download free software available for Windows or Mac and follow the step-by-step instructions provided by the program to select what to backup. The program then automatically backs up the data to Mozy servers. It is even designed to slow itself down so back-ups can be completed while the computer is being used. This feature does cause back-ups to take a significant amount of time, but a 2GB back-up can be easily completed overnight.
The service is free for non-business customers wanting up to 2GB of data storage. Unlimited storage costs $4.95 per month per computer. Business pricing is $3.95 plus $.50 per GB per month per computer or server.
Anyone who has data that cannot be replaced should consider some sort of off-site storage solution. Mozy is recommended by Simplicity Force for its ease of use and low cost.
