To those who love me and wish me well,

Your words and thoughts mean more than you can tell.

To those who dried my tears away, who held me to keep the demons at bay,

Your love and hope have kept me strong.

In times of deep despair, I have heard from deep within the voice that says "hang on".

To those who, when I needed you, have pushed me away;

Thinking that I asked too much, how my heart has broken with each look that was like a dagger thrust.

I cried, I prayed, but sometimes the answers never came except the still small voice of silence that encouraged me to live again.

And so as each new day began, I looked to life, as a moth to the light - knowing that life is so bitter-sweet, each moment so precious, there is no repeat.

So once again to those who love me and wish me well, I thank you, salute you with more appreciation than you can tell.

I hold you close, though you are far away.

I send you wishes that life treat you kindly each day.

I thank you for your generous and supportive love. I hope you find in me that same kind of love.
