If you are just learning to live in the present moment, it takes a while to get the hang of leaving the past and the future alone. It's the ego's for confusion.
Understanding the Purpose of Angels
Understanding the Purpose of Angels
A How to Guide
InstructionsThings You’ll Need:
THE BIBLE
Step 1:
Angels
worship and praise God, as evidenced in many parts of the Bible. Isaiah
6:3 spoke of this along with Daniel 7:9-10 and Revelation 4:8. They
never cease to sing “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was
and is and is to come!” One day, your voice could be joined with the
angels.
Step 2:
Angels
serve God as His agents of His many works. They were present at the
creation and at the giving of the law. They are used as a vehicle to
bring a message to someone from God. They announced God’s birth and His
resurrection.
Angels have ministering spirits and defend and assist God’s people. In
Psalm 91, 11-12, it says that the angels will be sent to Jesus and to
guard and protect people. Psalm 34:7 says that the angels encamp around
those who follow God. Angels are with people at the point of their
death on earth. Jesus said that angels carried Lazarus to Abraham’s bosom in Luke 16:22.
Step 3:
Angels
will be God’s agents in the final judgment of men, women, devils and
the world. The angels are there as the seals are broken, the trumpets
are blown and the seven bowls of wrath are poured out. All the
judgments at the end times have angels involved in the process. This is
all recorded in the book of Revelation.
Step 4:
- Some other scripture that describes the purposes of angels are as follows:
* Romans 8:38-39--Angels do not have the power to separate people from God.
* Hebrews 1:14--Angels help people and are sent to those who have received Jesus.
* 1 Peter 1:12--Angels also long to know the revelations of God.
* Mark 8:38--The angels are with Jesus in heaven and will be with Jesus when he returns.
* Luke 20:35-36--The angels do not die and will not marry. People will be like the angels at the resurrection from the dead.
