I would hope to be able to offer some perspective on the issue you present. For many years I sought knowledge through books and experience. I avidly took the words of the masters and the renowned as pure truth, only to find the wisdom to have historical, and personal influences, upon the perspective presented. Thus, the truth was only temporary, and limited by age and customs. The practice of various religious rites only confused my spirituality, and relationship to a higher being. My own journey through psychotherapy helped me realize and appreciate the sum of my parts. I became able to detect the visions and influences of others in my life. I learned to not 're-act' but the become 'response-able'. I learned that my movements had been choreographed by my thoughts and emotions. I learned to hear and focus, on sounds and mantra. I learned to breathe and center myself, attached to 'no-thing-ness'. I left feelings of 'lonely-ness' and became comfortable in my 'a-lone-ness'. Through my senses I became complete, now I am also a part of the whole. I teach breath and some understanding of the 'SELF'. I monitor 'journaling'and provide some guidance to help you uncover yourself. I ask you to stop, breathe and sense the moment within you, and around you. I suggest some books, and some words and a heightened sense of self to allow you to grow.
