In my 14 years experience as a State Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist/ Psychotherapist I have treated many people with various forms of Anxiety, Fear of Fearful Feelings, Agoraphobia, Acute Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, and PTSD.

Tapes, books, workbook, and other materials are an integral part of the therapy process. Based on cognitive, behavioral and goal-oriented therapies, the program addresses four basic areas: 1. Understanding the condition 2. Learning how to relax your body 3. Learning new skills of thought and attitude 4. Learning to change your behavior patterns so that you can begin to do those things you now avoid.

A) You have a minimum of 16 sessions with a therapist relying mostly on the tapes, workbook, and books.

B) You have a balanced approach that includes equal emphasis on sessions with the therapist, tapes, workbook, and books and may end up with a longer span of sessions with the therapist.
