I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Florida and Alabama and I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy to adolescents and adults in the areas of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, drug and alcohol, dually diagnosed, parenting issues, family issues, childhood issues, trauma, abuse, loss/grief/bereavement, women’s issues, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, codependency, anger management, stress management, time management, life skills, work issues, employee assistance programs (EAP), and case management. As an African-American woman and a first generation Nigerian-American, I am especially sensitive to cultural issues. My focus in working with clients is to help them gain and maintain control in their lives despite past or present issues, and to deal with those issues appropriately. To this end, I use a variety of theoretical approaches as suits the particular clients that she is working with, including cognitive-behavioral, family systems, structural, psychodynamic, solution-focused, supportive, and strategic.
