I have been trained as an Addiction Counselor and Psychotherapist to work with individuals suffering from all types of addictions, from substance abuse to sexual compulsions, as well as over-eating. I also work with individuals who have developed addictions in the process of self-medicating emotional imbalances such as depression, anger and anxiety.

My spiritual background and training prepares me with additional skills to assist you through the process of change and transformation while stepping outside the typical therapeutic box.

My Specialized Training

I am an experienced Psychotherapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and Interfaith Minister. I have been working in the Mental Health and Addiction field for over 25 years providing individual and group therapy. I have an extensive history working in hospitals, schools and private clinics providing counseling services in addiction for both addicts and their family members.

Addiction - I am trained and licensed to work in the field of addiction, ranging from food addiction to illicit drugs and alcohol and sexual compulsion. I have a CASAC through New York State Office of Substance Abuse and Alcohol Counseling. I am also a certified Psychotherapist through APA - American Psychotherapy Association

Certified Relationship Counselor - I have been trained and licensed to work with couples through the PREP (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program) offering divorce prevention techniques, as well as provide relationship enhancements tools. Through the PREP training I have been able to assist couples in improving the communication system that is often damaged by years addiction

Hypnotherapy - Through my training in hypnotherapy (American Hypnotherapy Association in NYC) I can provide individuals with tools for working through addiction, as well as work on reshaping past traumas through regressive healing techniques.

Interfaith Minister - I am an Interfaith Minister who has been trained to work with different religious groups. I've also been ordained and I am licensed to do spiritual provide Spiritual counseling for those in need of Spiritual guidance.

The focus of the counseling services is to help you obtain insight, develop coping skills and achieve balance and positive transformation. I am straight forward and work to get results and not waste your time

Each session is designed to provide you with assistance in expressing yourself and fulfilling your goals. You will have an opportunity not only to vent, but to find ways to make concrete changes and transform your life. You will learn techniques that empower you as well as assist you in managing stress, releasing blockages and redesigning your life patterns.

Note**Substance Abuse issues are dealt with only with individuals who are serious about recovery and are willing to do the work. If you are active in your addiction, a 28 rehab/detox is required to create the proper foundation for intense therapy. If you are not willing or able to make this commitment, then we cannot work together.
