Special Needs Advisor Support for Parents of Special Needs Children

Parenting is already hard, but nothing could have prepared you for the challenges you face with your child with special needs. Educators have been trained, but parents have not. Isn't it time YOU had the tools you need to help your child? I can provide you with strategies for development in behavior, social skills, life skills, speech and language, fine and gross motor skills, and academic skills. I will support you in your implementation of Discrete Trial and ABA at home. I can also provide you with information about and help with your child's IEP. I have been teaching children ages 3-10 with moderate to severe disabilities for 13 years. I have a Masters in Education, and am a certified teacher in Early Childhood. I have extensive experience with children with Autism, Asbergers, Down Syndrome, Cognitive Impairment, Speech and Language Delays, Sensory Integration Disorder, Angelman Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, chromosomal translocations, various physical disabilities, ADD, and ADHD. I am passionate about empowering parents with the knowledge I have gained from my training and experience. How can I help you?
