Hi, I'm a Doctor of Naturopathy, which means that I provide education to people in areas of natural health. I am nationally recognized by the American Naturopathic Certification Board as a Certified Traditional Naturopath. I am not a medical doctor, but rather I am educated in matters of health and wellness, and ways in which nature works to support life.
I am also an ordained minister, and I believe that we were provided in the beginning everything that we need to be well. I look to what was given to us from the very start, designed to support life on this earth...the air, the water, the plants, aromas, colors, sound, love, movement, and the ability to lift our throughts up through prayer. These are the basic components I work to encorporate into a healthy plan.
I teach simple and natural methods in all areas of holistic health, encompassing physical, spiritual, emotional and social aspects of life. What I do is to help you determine the root of the problem and recommend ways in which you can work to support the return to balance and health. When the body is balanced, it takes care of it's own healing needs. (Body, meaning the physical body, but also the other areas aforementioned, too.)
The advice that I give is not meant to take the place of the advice of a medical doctor. I am simply sharing ideas from history and research about ways that a higher level of wellness can be achieved.
It is beneficial to total healing to develop a well-rounded comprehensive and holistic approach. I can recommend "quick fixes" for things, but the real benefit comes from developing an entire program of natural health.
So often people want just one thing to work. I don't know what that could ever be, because we are complex beings, in fact.
But the answers are simple. Simple, yet complex, like the simplicity of sitting on the front porch fitting a beautiful jigsaw puzzle together, and the complexity of all those pieces when they start out there in the box.
Many components fit into a well-rounded program...the use of plants for food and medicine, the use of water to hydrate the body and brain, learning breathing techniques which balance the inflow and outflow of air, the giver of life...There are so many components to wellness...I guess it just depends on how well you want to be, because there are so many things you can do!
Allow me to help you set into motion a plan for the success of your expanded health goals...Goals which reach beyond merely getting over this condition or that. Let me help you set goals which involve feeling GOOD, instead of just getting by with okay.
I will take your personal preferences, environment, and lifestyle into consideration when making recommendations for you. In this way, we can devise a plan that will be much more effective in helping you to reach your goals.
Now for your part. YOUR part is the most important part! Before you even call me, I would like to ask you to think of the three utmost healing goals on your mind. They can be anything...Spiritual, physical, emotional, financial or societal goals...Areas in which you feel in some way deficient. It might be cancer, it might be acne, it might be a broken heart, or it might be that you have no financial resources coming into your house, or that you are having a hard time trying to forgive...whatever it is for you, but I want you to think of three things in your life that need healed.
No matter the problem, I find it best to address it from physical, emotional, and spiritual angles, all three.
When you call, I will ask you what your goals are, and then I will ask for some background information from you. After I have gathered sufficient information to get a complete view of the factors which may be involved, we will schedule a follow-up time, so as not to charge you for my thinking and researching time.
Also, in order to cut down on the time which you are billed for, it's a good idea to have a notepad and pen by the phone, as I will be asking you to jot some things down. If possible, in addition to this (not as a replacement), it would be very helpful if you could be by your computer at the time when we talk, unless you don't have access, that is.
I can help you with making a plan for yourself, or for those in your care, including any animals which are in your care.
This is not medical advice which I give. I am not a Medical Doctor, nor am I a Veterinarian, a licensed dietitian, or any other licensed professional in the medical field.
I am a Certified Natural Health Professional and a Certified Traditional Naturopath. I give advice on natural ways which have been used traditionally and also ways which have been studied through research, in addition to spiritual ways. My advice is not intended to take the place of a Medical Doctor's Advise. I am a Doctor of Naturopathy. I teach about natural health.
