I fell in love with Amsterdam on my very first trip, back in 1990. I was going to spend three days here and spent eight. I almost didn't leave then...
It took me seven years to return; I'd gotten a chance to go to The High Times/420Tours Cannabis Cup, this trip would be in a wheelchair. I knew that Amsterdam was not exactly an accessible city, but I thought I'd have to try it. The folks at 420Tours were very supportive and encouraging when I needed it. So I'm back! It felt like I came home
After 9/11, we almost didn't have a Cup, but cooler heads prevailed, and a smaller, more subdued, event happened. I got a chance to stay, so I've been here ever since. In addition to my duties as Disability Info Coordinator, I'm now the Assistant Event Coordinator for the Cannabis Cup itself for the second year in a row!
So, I'm pretty well equipped to answer your questions on pretty much ANY Amsterdam Subject. If I don't know an answer and can't find it in a reasonable amount of time while on the phone with you; I'll get back to you with the answer to your question (or the reason why I can't answer it) without further expense to you.
I wouldn't claim to know everything about Amsterdam, I most certainly haven't been here that long, and I wasn't born here. But, I do have some pretty good resources available and I have local people to ask whenever necessary. So, I always get the best information for you that I can
I can provide personalized maps with landmarks and locations clearly marked. I can even provide GPS Coordinates for many local locations! I can provide various levels of support, (including Medical Equipment and Skilled Nursing Care, if necessary) while you are here too, if that's helpful, just ask.
Please don't hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions at all about the City of Your Dreams!
