My name is Chamile, and trust me do I know what you are going through! Recently I moved back to NY when my grandmother fell ill. She was diagnosed with lymphoma and breast cancer concurrently. I dropped everything to move home and be at her side, to comfort her, take care of her and spend as much time with her as I can.
I think that chemo therapy is one of the hardest things any human being can go through, as I have watched my grandmothers sister go through it for 3 years on and off.
Now that my grandmother has begun chemo, it is up close and not so pretty. If you need a support person..or just someone to talk to, I am your person! I hope to hear from you soon!
There are also other ways to approach cancer that haven't really reached mainstream...we can talk about lifestyle changes and things that have worked for people I know.
