I've been programming since I was 14 in 1982. I've been building computers since 1986. From experience I can tell you that most computer problems come from a lack of knowledge - knowledge that is easily attainable with a phone call. Often I'll have the answer right away, and sometimes I'll talk you through to help identify the problem. If there is a list of things I need you to do to help identify the root problem, and I know this from the start I'll give you my email to save you from having to spend 30 minutes on the phone (for example) - and this will save you money. Others (especially those more interested in money than in helping) won't do that for you. Here's something else they won't do that I will: If you need additional help related to the original problem after the problem appears resolved I'll provide that help, again via internet or email so it won't cost you additional $. My goal is to help.
