Greetings, My name is Celesta. I am a licensed California homebirth midwife, licensed by the State of California Dept. of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board. Alumni of Casa De Nacimiento Midwifery school, I have been providing homebirth maternity care, well woman care and lactation consulting for the past 15 years. I am a UCSD Extension graduate in Lactation Education and Lactation Consultant Specialist with much training in problems of breast feeding. A well respected educator to student midwives, birthing couples, and the general public I am now here on keen to help answer questions for you...... I live and serve the women of San Diego California. I have also traveled abroad as a midwife for those who are unable to find one in there area or country. I have done missions work in Baja Calif. Mexico, have traveled to Asia and Europe and have had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with women from different parts of the world exploring the nature of women and births and learning different tricks and remedies used in the childbearing years. I have spoken at conferences and workshops, including Midwifery Today, Le Leche League International, San Diego State University. I can offer wonderful and up to date information for those seeking a more natural pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Call me i will not disappoint you. On a personal note: I am the mother of two beautiful homebirthed and homeschooled daughters who are now grown on their own and in college. I spend my free time messing with my animals or puttering in my yard, Visiting with my friends and family, trying to find the remotest trail, hitting that ol' boogie board, and always, a good concert.
