My name is Nyogetsu. I am a Grandmaster of the Shakuhachi (End-Blown traditional Japanese Bamboo Flute).It is the only melodic instrument used in Zen Buddhism .In addition to have 17 recordings out, I have students in 26 states and 6 foreign countries. I personally teach in NYC, Upstate New York, Syracuse, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Let me answer anyof your questions about music or anything else about Japan... I can also help you with travel ideas, as I take groups over to Japan every Spring.
