• Email:  Setting up your programs, to retrieve your e-mail. Multiple e-mail boxes, their use and why have more then one. Free email boxes that don't even require you to have a computer; anyone can do e-mail. Filtering and blocking junk and spam mail. Filtering and sorting e-mail for groups.
• ISP (Internet Service Providers):  Which ones to use (or not), price ranges, best services. What to look for and what to avoid.
  
• Modems & Networking:  Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) with your family or business. Modem setups for Cable / DSL / Satellite / DUN (dial up networking).
  Routers: Don't pay extra to network your internet connection in your house!
  
• Security & Firewalls:  Understanding viruses, Trojans and hackers and what you can do to keep your information secure and protect yourself from viruses. This usually doesn't require expensive or resource robbing software packages, but rather just some understanding, some setups, and some common sense.
  
• Multimedia:  Quick Time, Winmedia, Real Player and other internet Audio / Video programs. P2P (Peer to Peer) file sharing. How to access the large file sharing networks.
  
• Personal Websites:  Homepage Photo Albums, editing and posting your images. Domain sites for free or reasonable rates. Get started with free domains, to practice your setups and then expand to full commercial sites when ready. As a webmaster I can write your pages for you; after which you can study, maintain and then learn to upgrade on your own (which I encourage you to do).
