"Always aim at complete harmony of thought, and word, and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well"
Gandhi
More and more people today feel as though they are being pulled in several different directions at once. Keeping up with the demands of this fast paced and ever changing world can be a challenge for almost anyone. It can be easy to loose perspective when you are busy striving to get the most you can from life.
I understand how difficult it can be to manage your concerns. I also know that balancing work, family life, and other commitments doesn't have to feel miserable.
Are you struggling with persistent sadness or depression?
Are you having difficulties due to grief or loss?
Do you suffer from excessive fear or anxiety?
Are you having trouble getting over a traumatic experience?
Are you trying to stop depending on alcohol or drugs?
Can't end the conflicts in your family relationships?
Are you having trouble communicating with your spouse?
Do you keep running into the same problems with others over and over again?
Need help recovering from a painful divorce?
Confused about how to discipline your child?
Is your child overly anxious and clingy?
Having difficulty coping with memories of childhood abuse?
Addicted to internet pornography?
Need to learn better ways to manage stress?
Want to find out how to control your anger?
Are you experiencing violence in your home or workplace?
Are you having trouble coping with sudden changes in your life circumstances?
"At first we cannot see down the path that leads to dark and hateful things, but no light or beauty can ever come from a man who cannot bear this sight. Light is always born of darkness, and the sun never yet stood still in heaven to satisfy man's longings or to still his fears"
Carl Jung

What I Do
I specialize in helping my clients develop the skills and the resources they need to live a full, and productive life. In some cases that can be as simple as offering a safe place for them to reflect with a trusted confidant. In other cases I actively engage in helping my clients manage the changes they wish to make in their personal, and professional lives.
I offer a wide variety of services designed to help my clients get the most out of what life has to offer. If you're interested in improving your personal relationships, furthering your professional development, searching for answers to life's most pressing dilemmas, or simply looking to find a new direction for yourself, I'd be happy to serve you.
If you're ready to make a change in your life today, call me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
"You are so young, so much before all beginning,
and I would like to beg you, dear one, as well as I can,
to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart
and to try to love the questions themselves
as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign tongue.
Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now,
because you would not be able to live them.
And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now.
Perhaps then, someday far in the future,
you will gradually, without even noticing it,
live your way into the answer."
Ranier Maria Rilke
About online counseling:
Online counseling is different from face to face psychotherapy. When therapy is done face to face, the therapist and client are better able to take into account body language, facial expressions and other cues that don't necessarily translate well over the phone. For that reason, much of the phone counseling I do is similar to coaching. My aim is to help you clarify your situation, consider your goals and decide on which direction you may wish to take. I can guide you, but you will need to do a lot of your own work to follow through.
I can provide you with written forms and assessments via e-mail to expedite this process and help reduce the time you spend on the phone.
I respect your time and the money you are investing and WILL NOT keep you on the phone any longer than necessary. I ask that you phrase your questions as clearly as you can. This will allow us to work as efficiently as possible. Although I will keep what we speak about in confidence, I cannot guarantee that your phone or internet connection is secure.
