Lessons Learned: Confessions of a Terminal Dieter
The reason most self-improvement programs don’t work is that they don’t take the individuals needs into account. In this crazed world of overdue deadlines, mounting appointments and personal commitments, taking time to do what we know is right for ourselves and our health is often another stress we don't need. We are all overly busy and overwhelmed, and a personal improvement program shouldn’t add to the stress. Instead, the process should be as rewarding and enjoyable as achieving the ultimate goal. Whether we like it or not, how we look has a direct reflection on how we feel and visa versa. How do we get out of that trap of running in circles chasing our tails? Well, I have looked at all the options out there, and have combined what I know to work best. It’s a meeting of the old and the new---an integration of ancient wisdom with today’s technology and pace. I can attest to whether it works or not, because it worked for me. This program was developed from my own experiences, failures and success. I have lost over 90 pounds, overcome a life threatening illness, and developed a new life path. All these things were accomplished through times of extreme adversity. Even though I had years of background in fitness, nutrition, and New Age healing, I could never have accomplished this, my most difficult challenge, without learning and understanding how to deal with myself. This is a personal journey that cannot be mass-produced. It’s yours and yours alone; however, we can give you the tools, support and the signposts to take you to your destination.
