Have you considered that your child's earache
is not just an earache?Maybe your child is hearing you upset, angry, yelling, and the earache is a physical reaction to your child's surroundings? If you are metaphysically interested/oriented, you might consider that your child is sensitive to his/her environment, and that the symptoms s/he expresses may be, in part, a function of what s/he experiences in day-to-day life.
Many children today are on medicines, and as a child, so was I. However, as an adult, I have come to see that the professionals of my childhood days only dealt with what they saw, and not what was truly going on. As a result they tried to push down/away what I was feeling with the medicines, instead of allowing the emotions to be expressed.
The adults had no idea what was truly going on,
and it left me feeling "crazy".
In actuality, I was picking up the craziness of the adults around me. It was quite a time, and if you feel that this is something you would like to discuss further, I would be open to sharing more.
