Get kids to do their chores!
Here are some tips to keep you on track and steady when having kids do chores: Decide on the chores as a family but require that everyone do x number of chores per day/week. In my family we write out a list of chores that has to get done and then everyone takes turns putting their initials next to the chores they will do. Not doing chores is not an option. Reward frequently and often, but don't bribe. Social rewards, such as praise and verbal appreciation are much more effective at getting long-term compliance from children than are bribes, such as money, sweets, toys, or activities.....
