Hello! I'm a Registered Nurse with many years of nursing on my resume. The most exciting and difficult years I have had as a nurse has been in the Emergency Room at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah. I've worked with Neurological Patients at the Head Trauma Unit, University Of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah and as a Director of Nursing for San Juan Hospital in Farmington, New Mexico, with 300 bed capacity and the only Trauma Center in Northern New Mexico. My experience has been well rounded and given me a full spectrum of medical knowledge, from general medical questions of all nature to Sports Medicine and Men's Health.

Doctors offices are crowded and rarely is a patient worked into the schedule without an appointment. The office usually wants you to go to an Emergency Clinic when they are booked up. This is expensive, time comsuming and very uncomfortable when you don't feel well. My personal and professional life has given me a vast knowledge about diseases which plague our society today. My ability of translating immense amounts of information within a very short period of time, and being able to pin point problems for clients, is one of my specialties. Knowledgeable about medication reactions and interactions. PDR, Drug Reference books and software are at my disposal for pharmaceutical i.e., medication questions and possible adverse reactions.

How can mental illness affect your personality? How do antidepresents affect your day to day living and personality? The stigma of Mental Illness is still driving people away from doctor offices. We have not come very far in treating mental illness as what it really is, ILLNESS and not some character flaw. I'm a strong advocate for people who suffer from debilitating emotional and mental fatigue from chemical imbalances in their brains.

Doctors respect people who challenge them occasionally and ask intelligent questions. It helps them a great deal, to have patients get involved with their treatment regime. I believe in being honest, and to the point by giving guidance through brief, but thorough, conversation and having a plan at the end of our visit, no matter how long our visit is.
