For many photographers, photoshop is referred to as the "Digital Darkroom." While film photographers used chemicals in the darkroom, we now use computers to dodge, burn, and do much more than we ever dreamed of.
As a Wildlife and Nature photographer, I tend to use photoshop to do what the original "darkroom" did. I like my pictures to show viewers what I saw, in that moment that the image was born. .. a reality of one moment to be painted by the light onto the sensors of my Nikon D2X.
After the image is made, the next step involves getting it ready for expression by way of print, website, email, etc. .. whatever you choose. I look forward to your calls with questions about the Digital Darkroom, Photoshop. Kristen Westlake
