What does dilatation and effacement mean? Your doctor rattled off a bunch of words and numbers but what does it all mean? The midwife will explain it to you in ways that will help you understand.

How will I know when I'm in labor? Even women who have had a baby worry that they won't be able to tell when they are in "real labor." Discuss your concerns and get advice based on your own, personal, experiences.
